I was surprised by how vibrant the blue is. Its is a capri/bright royal pattern and the white is bright white. The dress fits true to size. I only wish the straps were adjustable. I normally have to shorten straps if they aren't. Otherwise, the dress is perfect and I can't wait to wear it on vacation.
